Cannot access website at all

I am not a computer guy,very novice.

I designed 2 webpages but one of mine is a site where users need to log in with user name and password. I had an overseas company build this portion for me. They used hestia. All I do was then access myphp admin and approve new users by typing a 1 in the data base. Once they sign up it is a zero which does not give them access.

I went in to hestia to just take a look. I was in Data base and did not know it. I saw my user name and a blank password. I entered my password and it created a back up.

Since that happened my website is down, 403 error. Because it has code even for me to log in to the site it appears that data base and coding was messed up with me accidentally doing the back up. I see the back up and hit restore but it did not fix my problem.

My phpmyadmin is different as well as their is nothing there when I log in. I suspect because the data base is gone? Causing both issues?

I have 2 websites and the one that is just a website is working fine. The one I was describing that users need to log in to, and where I accidentally backed up does not work.

The ftp for both is still fine for both so I know it is there, but how to access? and how to undo my back up? That is all I did in the program (the accidental create a back up) and poof a big mess. I am NOT a programmer or coder. I am just regular joe so If I am not explaining things correctly I apologize. Any help or suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

I’m not sure, what do you expect from us? After reading your text twice, I still can’t understabd what exactly is the problem, what went wrong and so on. If you search for help, you need to sort your informations better.

After reading - I think your site is not gone. it exists, you just are blocked. Of course, this is all an assumption based on what I’m able to figure out.

Without more details… like which site, which domain, how you login, why did you needed to access database through hestia, i’m assuming. you use phpmyadmin to login… and many more questions come to mind - before anyone can begin to help.

If you feel comfortable - I can try to help - but you’ll have to share all these details with me or someone who may be willing to go to that length to help you out.

Have you thought of approaching that overseas company?
