to be honest, I was having some problems in creating a site, and the install failed. it kept saying that the files were already present.
I mean, I’m constantly looking for a domain name, or a username.
I think this message is more relatated to
yeah, i’m too chicken to install beta on a new production server. Maybe i’ll go try that on one of my older servers (that I want to retire)
I love your guys work. I had someone else refer me to cyberpanel and I think the other one was cloudpanel, and the related cloudpages. i’m like, uh no thanks.
It’s hestiacp or back to cpanel for me, and for now the answer has to be ‘both’

It does only check if the index.html / index.php exists and deletes it. Still need to improve that part…
Mediawiki has currently issues when you set up an https site as it tries to use http. Or the other way around. It has been resolved for 1.6.0 release. How ever 1.6.0 alpha contains still a “huge” bug with sending / receiving emails so wait with installing it.
Same with Prestashop that doesn’t even want to install (See Github issues)

Install DokuWiki with Quick Install script.
SSL not e… nabled (did not test with SSL enabled)
DokuWiki renders without formatting.
Expected: Quick install script choses the right PHP version.

setup domain with SSL
Install PrestaShop Quick install
see the following message: (Even though the directory is empty)

When I go to my to my URL I see the following:
`Error: "install" directory is missing`

Hesita is opensource it means all the development is done for for free and that there is not a company behind it that funds the development so accept that there are might be bugs with Hestia or that development may be slower at some point.
