File manager permission

I came across this file manager: https://www.files.gallery/ which I prefer over filegator.

I have installed it on a filemanager folder, so it’s accessible via https://hostname:8083/filemanager/.

The file manager’s root dir is set to the web directory of logged in user: /home/$loggedInUser/web/

When logged in as admin, the file manager works well, but when logged in as any other user it shows invalid directory, seems like a permission issue.

I need expert advice to avoid damage.

You won’t as we run each user under a different user so admin user can’t change it …
