I configured Global SMTP Redirect, I receive the backup emails generated by hestia, but I don’t receive the emails from Wordpress, I had to configure SMTP directly in Wordpress to resolve this, is that right?

Yes you need a wordpress plugin for smtp emails, wp by default trying to send php mails.
In this case, which emails would be sent by Global SMTP Redirect? Would the Sendmail ones be sent?
Thanks
Did you set it up globally or on domain level?
Also did you check exim4?
I configured it at a global level and the emails stayed in the queue and didn’t go out, so I cleaned the Exim emails and added the plugin to WordPress.
I receive backup emails normally, I just don’t understand why not from WordPress!
Thanks
Maison
