Recently I found out someone who hacked into my server before also got access to the SSH key the file manager was using and so got access to pretty much the whole userspace files. I deleted it File Manager, of course, does not work right now. How can I regenerate it?
Delete the .key file and access it at again via the file manger and it should again regenerated…
Question to ask how the hacker got access to the .ssh folder in the first place …
My password was found in a leaked db, he logged into SSH, there was also an API key there, seems like he saved everything so he can get me to pay him. After a while, I 2fa’d everything, so only thing he could do is to sftp, not anymore.
Delete the api key then asap…
And consider an reinstall as the server is lost due to the api keys can do everything without any limitations…
