How would it be to do this job of bringing hestia and debian up to date?

Hi, I have an outdated hestia, running on debian 9.

Is it possible to upgrade debian to a higher version such as 10 or 11 ? without breaking anything

How would it be to do this job of bringing hestia and debian up to date ?

Step 1: Update Hestia to the last current version (Debian 9 is still supported)
Step 2: Now you have 2 options:

Debian 10 no changes are required
Debian 11: Follow the instructions

You also might need to upgrade MariaDB and maybe even switch to php-fpm depending on your setup

Thanks a lot. Will try It. LOVE you Bro!

Another option would be to install Hestia on a new Debian 11 server, and then migrate the users one-by-one to the new server. Its pretty painless for standard users, but if you have a lot of customizations, it might take a bit longer.
