Manually installing clamAV after initial server setup?

Hi,

We configured a server without clamAV. The old server used to be a bit low powered, so struggled to run it along with everything else. The new one has a better spec, but I stupidly installed it without clam.

Is it as simple as doing:

apt-get update && apt-get install clamav clamav-daemon -y

Then in /etc/exim4/exim4.conf.template, uncommenting:

#CLAMD = yes

…and give it a restart? Or is that too simplistic and there is more to it? :slight_smile:

Thanks! (FYI, I only care about scanning emails on this server)
