Nginx custom conf

Dear Team

I was wondering if there is a way to have custom Nginx conf, most of the files said it will regenerate so edit will be gone, I wanna run go fiver, gin and python flask, I was thinking including another dir in nginx conf and use certbot to ssl the website, is that working or are there any better way ?
