Hi. how to add password to backup before uploading with rclone or sftp? if not possible yet implement or maybe someone know how to add it now
You can’t tar doesn’t support password encryption
i know can use zip or better 7z… problem is not trust to upload backup to provider… so how to add 7z with encryption to the backup before upload? thx
You need to update v-backup-user but it will break imports…
rclone has the ability to encrypt files and then tranfer them to any supported cloud service. But maybe you need to do it with dash script and cron job…
