Hi everyone,

I’m currently running the latest version of HestiaCP, but I noticed that **phpMyAdmin is running on PHP 8.0**.

I understand that HestiaCP treats phpMyAdmin as a global system application separate from domain-specific PHP versions, but I couldn’t find an option in the Web UI to change or update the PHP version used by phpMyAdmin.

Could someone please provide step-by-step instructions on how to properly change the PHP version for phpMyAdmin (e.g., to PHP 8.4)?

Here are my server details:

- **HestiaCP Version:** Latest

- **OS:** Debian 12

- **Web Server:** Nginx + Apache2

Thanks in advance for your help!

phpMyAdmin uses the default configured php version, if you want to change it to 8.4:

```auto
v-change-sys-php 8.4
systemctl restart nginx apache2
```

Keep in mind that all your websites using `default` as Backend Template (PHP-FPM) will have their php version changed.
