As my username suggests, I am a soul music lover with lots of years behind me who created the website soulyears.com for RnB/Soul music fans 10 years ago. It provides them with the opportunity to listen to the music they love free of charge without any annoying ads or interruptions.

I have been a soul music lover since the late sixties/ early seventies. I was born in 1956 so enjoyed happy teenage years listening to it continually.

I started up a soul music record library in the UK in the seventies which I ran for 15 years, and in 1990-1995 i got into computer software programming and then PC hardware.

I am now retired and live happily with my wife and young daughter in the sunny Philippines
