522 error; any ideas how to troubleshoot?

Hi,

visiting my site, I have a 522 error.

Can anyone tell me a way to trouble shoot this in the best possible way?

Hi,

522 is a connection timeout error. Are you using a CDN as proxy? Did you check the logs for your domain? Is it resolving correctly?

I am using cloudflare, and their SSL certificate, which has not expired…
(made no changes to cloudflare set up whatsoever, everything worked fine until 3 days ago)

Might you tell me how I can check the logs for my domain?
(you don’t mean server log files, right?)

Btw, I have no access to my hestiaCP as well.

Then… did you check whether your server is up and running?

Yes, it is, info says: Running. But what is strange -
I just tried to SSH in…

And it says, Unable to do so.

So I guess, I have to reboot the whole server …

Edit:
I have restarted the server and it works again.

I don’t know what caused this, but I had some traffic going on:
40 gb of traffic for one site (23k visits in 11 days).

Maybe it could be related to it.

Edit:
Traffic skyrocketed from 40 gb to 70 gb within 3 days…
