Alpha 1.9 detected issues

After a clean install of Debian 12 with HestiaCP 1.9 without selecting any install options I detected these issues:

  • After enabling Limit System Resources plugin, then when I try to disable it, is not possibleto disable and get message “Error code: 1”
  • After enabling File System Disk Quota plugin I got the error “/dev/sda1 [/]: group quotas turned on
/dev/sda1 [/]: user quotas turned on” and it was not enabled. After that error every time I try to enable it, I get the error “Error code: 127” and still does not enable
  • File manager is always showing the folders /home and /tmp instead of user folder
  • After enabling the Web Terminal plugin the service was down and when trying to start the service I got the message “Failed to start web-terminal.service: Unit web-terminal.service not found.”. I disabled the plugin and enabled it again and it started working.
  • When I access the Web Terminal with a user that has “Jail User Shell” option enabled I can still see all folders and files including other users folder name at /home.
  • When “Jail User Shell” is on and I access CLI with SSH I can still see some system folders and files. Is a limited view but I am not limited to the user folder, I can go to / or even /etc and more
  • web-terminal service has an edit button but does not do anything when clicked

I’ve done a clean install on Ubuntu 24.04 and can confirm the bug of the File manager. After installing a backup of a hestia sytem with Ubuntu 20.04 it shows the root instead of the home folder.
