SMTP Error (451): Could not set recipient “[email protected]” (Temporary local problem - please try later).

We do not copy and paste only error messages here, please provide a minimal stack of informations…

@ClaudioSpcSpa

Yes, @Raphael said very correct. The error you saw isn’t a standard error so that anyone could say where the problem is. So you will have to troubleshoot by yourselfg, or learn how to do so, and provide here all the information.

If you want to learn how to troubleshoot, you can refer the following Guide published by Directadmin (I wish something like this is available also on HestiaCP for new comers):

In particular, you should post here logs from the /var/log dir based on your troubleshooting attempts. Then, we can help you to come forward.

However one remark:
As you can determine, the error is a temporary one. It may have disappeared by now. But if this persists, you need to troubleshoot …

First of all, I apologize, it won’t happen again.
The problem is that when I log in via webmail and try to send an email, that message appears.

Can you send emails outside of webmail? This is the first thing to check. If yes, we can work on other areas, where the problem could be. For checking this, you can use the information I have you above in link.

First of all, thank you very much for the help.

Mail sent from Gmail arrives immediately, Roundcube webmail does not send and the SMTP error (451) appears above. Nor does it reflect the recently sent mail.

I was testing the link and it gives an error, which I don’t understand and there are too many lines to post here.

On the other hand, and I think it is the most important thing that I had not said before, is that I have just updated the operating system, Debian 10 to Debian 11 and later to Debian 12. Could this be the reason for the problem?

Fixed in this topic.
