@Raphael is coming back from Holiday. After that we should be ready for the release. We are mostly busy with the last few bug fixes…

What are the approximate release dates? Any approximate dates?

As soon as I’m back and the release is working properly, we usualy do not give out a specific time for the release - that only stress us out and makes you unhappy, if we cant hold it due to latest bugs or different things.

If I do a fresh install of Hestia 1.6 Beta - when it is released, will I stay in the beta channel or switch to stable automatically?

After 1.6.0 is released

It will be removing an # in the hestia.list for the apt.hestiacp.com and add an # in front of beta.hestiacp.com

There is no reason to add it. As it a bad security practice to host any side on the admin “user” as it has increased access to the server. If you website got hacked users can run certain code and gain access to the panel

I don’t know what is not working or what is generating this issue. So default steps like:

  • Steps that you have taken
  • Related log files
  • Custom changes

And so.

Hestia is opensource this means so it will also mean that you have to debug and check what is wrong.

SMTP error (-1): Failed to connect to the server.

Can be everything it depends on the context. But if ClamAV is down it might be a good start point for debugging
