Cloudflare proxy needs to be disabled for the LE cert to be issued, but what about during the renewals?

Hi!
From what I got, the domain needs to be set as DNS only when you are issuing the SSL certificate from LE, but can I then enable it back and leave it on after? Will LE be able to renew the SSL certificate if the proxy is on?

Renewals work fine of the Certificate is set in strict mode / full mode
