Created FTP account -- can't connect

The FTP account I created for my user in the control panel doesn’t allow me to connect via SFTP, only FTP?

It seems hestia is blocking me.

Do you use the “additional ftp user function” of edit web and try to login with this user?

Yes I do.

Are you able to login with you main account via ftp?

Yes. I read somewhere that using main account is a security risk so I disabled it.

Using “RO” as ftp is fine. (Even beter to use sftp as this is more secure)

But even then this doesn’t solve the issue… Just tried on a local dev server and I had no issues…

You shouldn’t use admin for any non administrative tasks.

RO is just a regular user. It’s not admin. The ro_test user is for a subdomain, and you are right, it should work.

Please check the server log file to see the error or warning related information which can provide the root cause of the issue.
