I read somewhere after hestiacp installation, it not recommended to run services under admin account. Should I remove default web under admin account and run it under new normal user account?
Keep the admin account for hestia itself, but anything else run under a non root user.
What I mean is the default web that hestiacp created itself after a fresh install. Should I remove it and put it on a non-root/non-admin account? Is that good practice for a fresh install?
Also, does hestiacp have a way to check and repair the hestiacp installation to see if it is corrupt or has problems compared to a normal fresh installation?
The default is the control panel stuff. But yeah the landing page of “success” can be removed, rather redirected to your panel, but it would not be any issue to keep it as-is.
AFAIK, there is no auto resolve or repair functionality. I maybe wrong here.
