Doubt about auto updates

I am trying to disable automatic updates. The top toggle switch becomes red but status of packages still show green tick.
I have selected all packages then disabled updates.

If I select a single package and disable auto update for that then the options still look same as screenshot so not sure if partial disabling update is allowed.

Please confirm what the green tick status mean. I think if updates are disabled then status should show cross or something for that package.

Status shows if the package is up to date.

Also you can’t disable auto updates for 1 package only all…
