Hello, I was trying to edit a domain with a subdomain, both migrated from Plesk along its DNS zone, in HestiaCP. The later works as a slave DNS server. I had the subdomain’s DNS entries as a separate zone in Plesk, so I tried copying them over under my domain’s Hestia DNS zone. Last one I was able to write down was a DMARC record for legacy email support, may have copied an extra space if it matters.
Right after editing the DNS zone at Hestia, and trying to enter the same domain from the listed DNS zones, I get error 500: Internal Server Error | Oops! Something went wrong. | The server encountered an internal error or misconfiguration and was unable to complete your request. | Error Code: 500.
Tried so far:
- deleting all entries for the subdomain at /home/dns-user/conf/dns/mydomain.com.db, then v-restart-service ‘bind9’ ‘yes’.
- v-rebuild-dns-domain “dns-user” mydomain.com yes yes
It’s a dumb way to lock myself out of it, is there anything I can provide, logs or otherwise, to fix access?
