probaly run apt update && apt dist-upgrade before the install.
Sorry. yes, I did that update step and it also gave the same error, is it likely that I have to change the OS?
check the installer log in /root (folder called hst-*). Also maybe consider to use ubuntu 20.04 instead of 18.04.
