Error when installing Wordpress on new site: Data Loss Warning! Your web folder already has files uploaded to it

Hi there,
Brand new domain name and using the quick app install to install wordpress and I get this error.

Data Loss Warning!

Your web folder already has files uploaded to it. The installer will overwrite your files and/or the installation might fail.

It was empty before and now there wordpress files are in there but it doesn’t load to the usual preinstalled theme.
Deleted the contents of public_html and started again. Same error and issue with wordpress partially installed.

Using Hestia CP 1.9.2
Worked fine a few days ago which I think was prior to the update.

rm -fr /tmp/hestia-webapp/

Delete this folder and it should work fine

Same problem and solution provided bei @Eris unfortunately doesn’t work. public html is empty and /tmp/hestia-webapp/ doesn’t exist.

Same problem here and error message. However, it does install all the files and creates the database. When I navigate to the site, it’s as if it’s a brand new WordPress install so I must go through web-based setup as if I were manually setting up a WordPress install.

Same problem, how to fix ?
