Problem: Currently, setting up an email address to pipe directly to a command/script (e.g., for helpdesk ticket creation) requires editing Exim configurations or /etc/exim4/domains/.../aliases manually. These manual edits are overwritten on domain rebuilds or updates.
Proposed Solution: Allow piping syntax inside the Mail Forwarding field or add a designated “Pipe to Program” option under Mail Account Settings, similar to cPanel’s Email Forwarders (“Pipe to a Program”).
Workaround standard: Currently managed via .forward or aliases files, but having GUI input validation for | /path/to/script would streamline integration for users migrating from cPanel.
