Fix custom Nameservers

Hi hestia lovers,
I’m quite new to this, but I’ve been experiencing some issues while trying to set up the DNS zone and custom nameservers.
I’ve the domain at ovhcloud, I’ve changed the DNS servers to point to ns1.domain.tld and ns2.domain.tld.
At the hestiacp, I’ve: Added a user, the domain and a DNS zone with:

  • ns1 A record pointing to the vps machine’s IP
  • ns2 A record (same as NS1)
    added NS1 records as:
    ns1.domain.tld and value the ip adress

Regarding jlguerrero’s guide, I’ve followed step by step, but I haven’t still found my issue.

I’ll read more about it, but I feel like it’s a ns problem, since all nslookups on the dnschecker.org website are down and any server can’t find the resulting ip adress (maybe i’ll have to wait tho)
