Ftp loading folder list

Hi,

New installation of the control panel and installed it on my local network and everything is working except the connecting to ftp.

It shows me that i am logged in filezilla and winscp but than it keeps hanging on retrieving folder list and then it tries to reconnect

used the following settings for the installation

hst-install.sh --apache yes --phpfpm yes --multiphp yes --vsftpd yes --proftpd no --named yes --mysql yes --postgresql no --exim no --dovecot no --sieve no --clamav no --spamassassin no --iptables yes --fail2ban yes --quota no --api yes --interactive yes --with-debs no --port '8083

Since you have it installed on your local network: are you connecting through NAT to your server? In that case, is on the NAT router an ftp helper active?

Hi,

Nat is not the problem here, i am not passing a router …, it works on other control panels that i am testing but i realy like the hestia control panel so i would like to get it working

Without any relevant information from the logfiles it is hard for us to provide any help.

which log files should i check and their location ?

Thanks in advance …, found the config files but no ftp log files

Personally I would just ignore ftp and use sftp instead…
