Hestia exim4 SPAM blocking

Hi,

I noticed, that one of my colleagues, who has their MAIL server on the office 365, and is sending mail towards my HESTIA domain mail server gets their messages rejected (not always, like 60% of the time) since their IP is on the blacklist (which is weird since they use office 365).

Rejected because 40.107.6.42 is in a black list at bl.spamcop.net

I know there are ways to like change your exim configs to Whitelists hosts, my question is, is there any “easy” way to white list whole domain from that customer like *@domain.com in any predefined exim files, without changing the Hestia exim config? *I don’t wanna whitelist their IP, since IPs for their domain apparently change

Also, can i input “40.107.0.0/16” in the white-block.conf as the whole subnet of office 365?

Or if I need to change, how to do this with the smallest impact?

BR

Are you sure it is because the open resolver message?

Hey, thanks for the response, but I don’t fully understand what you mean.

For now, I removed “bl.spamcop.net” from dnsbl.conf and also added the subnets (from the Microsoft page) to the white-block.conf. So my question if subnets will work in white-block.conf still stands.

Thanks!
