HestiaCP backups and payment

Hello,

I am using HestiaCP on my server Hertzener for managing domains and websites. I have two questions:

  1. Is HestiaCP a paid service or is it free to use?

  2. How can I set up automatic backups and where are they stored?

HestiaCP is a free and opensource control panel for linux webservers

Upon HestiaCP installation, you have to create user packages to define how many backups are allowed. By default the auto backups are saved on the same storage of the web server but you can send them to a remote server by SFTP

You should have all the domain names under a non administrator username, and that username must have a package. Set a package with as many daily backups as you wish and they will be done automatically overnight

Thank you for the explanation. Could you please tell me where I can find backups in HestiaCP panel there because there is have this message?

Backups are automatically created at around 4AM, that message means you manually requested a backup. It is on a queue and soon will be performed.

As soon as it is done, you will receive a confirmation email.

Then you will find the backup on that same screen and on the folder /backups
