How backups really work?

Hi, Hestia team, I want to know how backups really work. If I assign 30 backups to a user, does this mean each month the user will get 30 backups, or after 30 backups, users will not have backups? How does it function?

It will that in total 30 backups are created and after day 31 backup number 1 is deleted.
