Is it possible to change the default username of the admin account!
Currently not, no. Admin user is (still) hardcoded, there are plans to support multiple admin users and also make it possible to rename or remove the admin itself.
Is it possible to change the name (account name) for a regular user that I registrated long time ago and he has got 10 domain names? Or shall I register a new user with the name I need - then how can I assign domain names and folders from the old user-name?
is v-change-domain-owner {domain} {new-username} working for my purpose?
v-change-domain-owner / v-change-database-owner
and
I have a similar issue too. I am trying to rename a regular user username to a new name. How do I go about it, please? I have tried “v-change-domain-owner” method, but it is not working. Maybe I am using it in the wrong way.
What did you try and what is the error you get?
Keep in mind that v-change-domain-owner
doesn’t rename the user, it moves the domain from current owner to another user and that user must exists before the change.
This is what I was looking for, thanks for bringing this and thank you for the solution. I will try passing webs to other users using these commands.
Once again thanks you my fellows.
