How to correctly link Cloudflare to my emails on Hestia

New user here,

I am currently using Cloudflare’s Name Server’s, I am at a loss as to how to correctly link Cloudflare to my emails on Hestia

Hi and welcome.
I’m not using Cloudflare so unfortunately I can’t provide an answer But maybe you could use Google’s Instructions and adopt them to your case?

Type Name Value
A record: mail -> IP of your server
A Record: webmail -> IP of your server
MX: domain.com. mail.domain.com Priority 10
TXT: domain.com. “v=spf1 a mx ip4:ip ~all”

This should be the basic setup

This worked like a charm.

However, email clients like Thunderbird can’t seem to authenticate or find the mail server. Anyone has this same issue?

mail needs not go trough Cloudflare (Grey)
