How to link a domain to another domain in HestiaCP?

I am very new to HestiaCP.

I have a domain (gujaratweather.com) which is currently pointing to a shared web server.

I just purchased a VPS and installed HestiaCP on it.

After setting up HestiaCP I installed WordPress on the domain (vmi2318806.contaboserver.net) which was auto created when I setup HestiaCP.

Now I have a need to link the domain (gujaratweather) pointing to shared hosting to the auto created domain (vmi2318806.contaboserver) in HestiaCP.

How can I do this?

Create a new web domein on Hestia server

And change the DNS records for gujaratweather to the correct server ip

That would mean I will have to recreate the whole web site again under new domain.

One in-between patch is to define Aliases and to Enable Domain Redirection.

But I feel this is not a perfect way of doing things.
