How to reduce server response time?

Hi, I setup new server hestiacp to my VPS but I’m having 1.2s response time… is the re a way to reduce that? I have good specs I believe, I don’t deserve that response time.

here’s my VPS specs
8 processor
16gb of ram
100gb nvme

Any help? thanks

if you search for max performance use hestia without apache2, then probaly tweak the nginx (and mariadb config) depending on your setup.

@Raphael Won’t the nginx settings be override when there is an update ?

use custom template, also hestia wont overwrite the main nginx.conf in /etc/nginx/
