I contacted the developer regarding this problem shown in the image

Hello. Can any of you help me solve this problem that is really exhausting me?
Here is the developer’s response regarding this issue.

Hello,
I solved the above problem on your hosting, but after that, other problems occur again. I suggest you use cPanel or for free control panel use, CloudPanel to install the application correctly.

I tried to do the installation manually, but the PHPMyAdmin of your hosting server does not open. The picture is attached.

As we mentioned in the requirements section, you must provide a hosting that supports the following, otherwise we are not responsible for the failure to implement the program.

System Requirements:

  • Linux Web Hosting (cPanel is recommended)
  • PHP Version: 7.4, 8.0, 8.1, 8.2
  • PHP Extensions: Curl, GD2, MBString, OpenSSL, PDO, PDO_Mysql, Mysqlnd, allow_url_fopen, XML, JSON, Fileinfo, Intl
  • MySQL 5.7.x / MariaDB 10.x.x or newer

No refund will be given if your server does not support the program and you must use a server that is compatible with the mentioned requirements of the program.

Hello @stc2020,

It’s at least the second post regarding this issue, you should use only one topic.

What problem has been solved?

Again, what other problems?

You don’t show the picture but I suppose it is because a bug in Hestia release 1.8.11. To fix it use these commands as root:

chown -R root:www-data /etc/phpmyadmin/
chown -R hestiamail:www-data /usr/share/phpmyadmin/tmp/

So, seems the application expects an .env file in you doc root? another dir? Developer should know were to put that .env file and what are the contents it must have.

This is the image the developer talked about.

Without the url I can’t say what he/she tried to access to…

Keep in mind that hestia is a software for sysadmins. If you’re not aware of how to handle a server, please consider to stick to a shared webhosting with for example cpanel. Just because you can run hestia in combination with oracle nearly for free, doesnt mean it is a good idea to do so.
