I restarted my Contabo VPS server, and now all websites are not working. I have a Hestia control panel installed. can u help please
same happened with me, my VPS is also on Contabo and when i updated vps via apt update and upgrade and then reboot after that all websites not running because i can login to panel and check there is nginx is not running (failed), manually start nginx did not succeed. whats wrong guys?

Did you answer “yes” when asked if you wanted to install the new config file, replacing the existing one? If so you will need to restore the original.
there is no option asking for install the new config file, it just start upgrading and done and then i reboot the server
Start with basic debugging and check the bginx system status and related logs. Without it, its impossible to help.

first of all, ubuntu 20.04 isnt supported anymore by hestia and sury repository, you’ll need to upgrade to 22.04 at least - but as you do not know, how to check the nginx service status (systemctl status nginx), it’s probaly not a good idea to run it on your own; please see Read This First: Important Notes for Running HestiaCP Safely and How can the server be upgraded without these errors? - #23 by Raphael
Please get yourself help from a sysadmin, this is out of the spectrum and idea behind this forum.
