Hello, I’m utilizing Hestia for deploying a WordPress site, and currently, I’m not utilizing any Cloudflare products. Although I might consider using Cloudflare CDN in the future, at the moment, there’s nothing specific. I’m unsure whether it’s essential to configure DNS within HestiaCP. Thanks!

The necessity depends on whether you can utilize the DNS services provided by your domain provider, and some of them offer such options.

No, it isn’t essential, you can host your DNS in a third party provider; your domain registrar, another DNS service like Cloudflare, etc.

The only “drawback” is that you will have to manage the DNS records by hand.
