Issues with mail (Roundcube)

I have issues with adding and creating new emal for new domains, dns are set but keep getting error mail.example.com is not in dns.

Login to your server via ssh and execute this command (replace mail.example.com by the actual mail host):

dig mail.example.com +short

If you can’t see the ip then something is not working fine on your dns (server or client). If you see the right ip, we will need more info to debug the issue.

Yes I see ip, but still assigned to privateemail.com, a service which has been disabled.

So you are not seeing the right ip.

Do you host your dns server or are you using an external dns server? If you share the actual domain name we could take a look, if you don’t want to share it publicly, send me a private message.

The issue is fixed. @splinter was still using the old DNS records.
