I use Hestia, configured by a third party with whom I no longer have contact. This person set up a daily backup through Backblaze (B2). Every day, in the early morning, the backup is replaced, which poses some risk (if a site on the server has an issue at night and I don’t notice, a backup of the problematic site will be made). To partially mitigate this risk, I occasionally save a snapshot in Backblaze.
The problem is that I cannot use the old backup saved in Backblaze. I have already sent it via SFTP to the /backup folder of my VPS, but in Hestia, only the current backup (from the previous night) appears. Restoring a backup through Hestia’s visual environment is quite easy, but the files sent manually to the /backup folder are not recognized.
I have already tried changing the hestia.conf from “b2” to “local” and clicked in Hestia to create a backup, which was created in the /backup folder.
The uploaded backup has the same permissions (chmod) and ownership, yet it is not recognized.
Any solutions?
Thank you!
