I’m migrating quite a few sites into my cloud and unfortunately each time I need to validate a new domain via the standard http LE validation, there is some downtime as the sites are, of course, returning a SSL error.
From what I understand, DNS validation is available when a Hestia DNS cluster is in use but all my customers use Cloudflare, so that’s not an option. Is there any way at all to have a DNS validation with LE while using external name servers?

If you don’t use Hestia as DNS server for your domains you can’t use DNS validation. However, you can use any third acme client to issue the certificates for your domains using DNS validation and automate the integration with Hestia, I do it using acme.sh client and a couple of scripts to automate everything.
