Currently we can suspend and unsuspend websites, but what about maintenance mode, which lets people know that site is undergoing maintenance and can’t be accessed at the time, since suspension can be treated by the user as “the site was disabled due to lack of funds/some host violation”.
If it doesn’t worth it to implement a separate switch a template picker for suspended sites might also work.
