Myphpadmin not working after hestia install on vps

So I decided to try HestiaCP for the first time and it is definitely a learning curve compared to cpanel. So I have started making my datbase and myphpadmin will not work and has never worked since I got my vps server with hostinger. They installed Ubuntu and hestia when i got the server. Has anyone else had this happen before. Seems like it should work when hostinger installed it.

Keep in mind that cPanel and Hestia are completely different products.

What do you mean it doesn’t work? What’s the error? Have you checked the logs?

It says it cant open the page

This site can’t be reached
82.32.82.32 refused to connect.
Try:

Checking the connection
Checking the proxy and the firewall
ERR_CONNECTION_REFUSED

that’s not the correct ip i changed it to post whats going on.

But how are you trying to open phpmyadmin? Clicking on the button in Hestia Web UI? Directly using yourdomain.tld/phpmyadmin? Using the ip w.x.y.z/phpmyadmin?

Show the output of this command:

dpkg -l | grep phpmyadmin

If there’s no output, it’s good

That’s the problem, phpmyadmin shouldn’t be installed using OS packages.

To fix it. run this script as root:

/usr/local/hestia/install/upgrade/manual/migrate_phpmyadmin.sh

still not letting me in.

Could you please try connecting from another IP, for example using your mobile data? Fail2ban may have blocked your current IP.

Or send me your domain via private message if you prefer not to share it publicly.

Ok i must be blind i dont even see a place to do messages ? If you can message me ill just do the sites url that way.

ok i did my domain.app/myphpadmin on my phones browser and it took me to a server parked page ??
