Need help with symlink folder

Hello,

I’m setting up a fresh install of wordpress and setting the wp-content/uploads folder to be a symlink to /mnt/uploads. The problem is that hestiacp doesn’t accept this as a real directory (it’s more like a file), so I can’t upload files and I get an error :

Unable to create directory wp-content/uploads/2023/10. Is its parent directory writable by the server?

I am not an apache expert so please suggest me how to solve this problem.

Thanks in advance

Open /etc/fstab

And:

/mount /home/user/web/domain/public_html/wp-content/uploads none defaults,bind 0 0

Hi eris, thank you for your reply.

I know about this option, but I want to do it with a symlink. Is there a way to do it?

How ever it may break certain functions on Hesita…
