Not enough diskspace for backup

Hi

from any days the backup is stopped for a single user.
If I try to make a manual backup receive this email

not enough diskspace available to perform the backup.

Filesystem Size Used Avail Use% Mounted on
udev 966M 0 966M 0% /dev
tmpfs 196M 23M 174M 12% /run
/dev/sda1 38G 9.9G 27G 28% /
tmpfs 979M 0 979M 0% /dev/shm
tmpfs 5.0M 0 5.0M 0% /run/lock
tmpfs 979M 0 979M 0% /sys/fs/cgroup
tmpfs 196M 0 196M 0% /run/user/0

I deleted the command in /usr/local/hestia/data/queue/backup.pipe but it doesn’t solve my issue.

On what drive is “/backup/” located? On /dev/sda1/

How big is the user you want to backup?

my backup is local, not ftp. it is on /backup folder.

Normally it is about 230mb. I exclude a folder because it was 7gb

We currently check / match the account size x 2 against the available disk space. It will not surprise me there is an “issue” that the current account size is included…

How do you exclude a specific folder from the backup ?

We need to modify some code probally currently we measure the “needed”

Can you create an issue on Github?

I have setup in the package 7 backups.

In the panel I see only 3 backups but in the /backup folder there are 7 backups…but the last backup is done in date 02 november ( there are from 27 october to 02 november).

I think someone needs to learn how to partition, rather than use directories.
