Hi everyone, a friend has plesk and he take backup daily, and we want to take the last backup and add it to hestiacp. Its a big wordpress site which is the right way to take the plesk website backup and import it to hestiacp?
I personally almost completed option to migrate accounts from Plesk control panel to HestiaCP (one bash script is available on GitHub but none functional), just working on databases passwords, as latest MariaDB is slightly painful + email tests, as all files transferred but hasn’t been tested yet! Next step after migration tool will be working on Plesk backup files migration tool.
Have you tested? I don’t think so as I tried to migrate one account and copied just one account from Plesk server with all empty email accounts no databases, my script automatically copying databases, email from one server to another and using the same password. As for GitHub script it’s still need to sort out by hand as true sucks code! With such GitHub code pointless even to run as easier just create a new account and copy by hand all info #timewaster
No, i do not host any plesk servers and also do not have time to work on the script. It was just to point to it, as someone is already working on it.
ps: no need to flag my post as spam…
Just thought to share the code, a few more updates and new code (for migration from backup file) is on a way:
