Remove DNS support from a domain to generate new SSL via HTTP

Hello,

I have a panel with two sites . One of them used the DNS server in the same hestia server. Later, the DNS changed to a provider. With time, the SSL expired, and now i can’t refresh or create a new one.

When i try to generate the certificate, hestia creates a new record in the DNS zone, but the DNS server is not hestia anymore, so the validation fails.

If I delete the DNS zone, the process also fails, and complains that the DNS zone don’t exists.

I think that if i could remove the DNS support on that domain, hestia would try to generate the certificate using the .well-knonw directory, but i dont see any option to do that.

Thanks for your help

Delete the DNS domain from your Hestia server and it should work

Sorry i just edited the post, to add this:

If I delete the DNS zone, the process also fails, and complains that the DNS zone don’t exists.

I have deleted the zone again and going to reboot the system to see if it helps.

edit: nope, still the same error . Stopping bind9 also does nothing
