I have two restored accounts working but they have their name servers pointing to server. But third account just has a record pointing and is not working, the only difference is the username I believe but the domain is the same under the new username. https://example.net
seems to be pointing at the correct server ip.
This is the error in logs:
Fri Feb 07 10:23:20.145802 2025] [proxy_fcgi:error] [pid 459766:tid 459810] [client 148.252.147.239:0] AH01071: Got error 'PHP message: PHP Warning: Unknown: open_basedir restriction in effect. It looks like Wordfence somewhere saves the full path somewhere…
Removing the wordfence plugin should work?
Yes that is probally the best first step to check if it works
That hasn’t worked. I removed the wordfence folder to a zip file. And deleted the folder
You need to find out what script is calling that file. I assume the old user was:
CompleteUSER and the new user: USER
Thats correct. Is that the problem. Is there a way to change the username
Create a new user and then
v-change-domain-owner and v-change-database-owner
this worked thank you
I’ll have to remember that usernames have to be the same on restore.
It should not matter normally but some Wordpress plugins try to save the full path in the php… In that case it will break
Could you delete this post now please Eris. I cant find an option. Due to having domain username details in post etc.
No need to delete the post, it could be useful to other community users. Instead of deleting it, I’ve replaced the domain and user.
ok thank you sahsanu
