There was need to allow access by imap only for users from list, and i found recommendations on Restricting IMAP/POP3 access | Dovecot CE
Do all steps but hestia allows to connect for any users via imap
Dovercot just doesn’t use rules
We don’t have build in support for kind of rules and as Webmail logins via Imap if webmail is required for all the other accounts it won’t work either…
If it only connecting via certain ips you could whitelist them in the firewall and block everything else…
