Roundcube alternative webmail webclient

Modern Webmail & All-in-One Workspace for HestiaCP

To take the speed and simplicity offered by HestiaCP in server management one step further, I developed a next-generation webmail client from scratch as a lightweight, modern, and standalone alternative to Roundcube—which we have been accustomed to for years, but often falls short in modern workflows.

My goal wasn’t just to provide a standard email interface; it was to turn the centralized collaboration capabilities of heavy enterprise ecosystems like Microsoft Exchange and Zimbra into an open, modular digital office that you can run on your own server with minimal resource consumption.

Key modules integrated into the system:

  • Fluid Email & Filtering: Multi-language support, corporate signature management, and advanced filtering rules.

  • Central & Shared Calendar: A shared calendar architecture supporting both individual scheduling and team-wide meeting/event synchronization.

  • Personal Cloud Storage (Drive): A secure file hosting and management space separate from email attachments.

  • Collaboration Tools: Daily to-do lists, an organized notepad, and a contact management directory.

  • Instant Messaging (Chat): A real-time internal messaging infrastructure to accelerate team communication.

What do you think of this setup, which offers complete data privacy, high performance, and an all-in-one experience on your own server without external SaaS subscriptions or heavy licensing costs? How do you see the missing parts, or what features would you say “definitely need to be included”? I’d love to hear your thoughts and technical feedback.

Ok, once done add the link here.

Once my tests are finished, I will add the information to GitHub as a repository.
