Hi everyone. My friend and I have an issue logging into the roundcube panel. We tried different browsers and clearing cookies/cache.
We both receive “Invalid request! No data was saved” or “Login failed”.
Could you share os, version, aswell check the related weblog and let us know, if you used the mail ssl function?
Hello. It seems my domain emails aren’t sending anything out. Yes I am using SSL. My friend also changed his password and still could not login.
My os: Debian
Hestia: 1.2.3
Way to much options here, mail should work out of the box. If they dont go out, you probaly need to check the exim log. For the email issue maybe the related weblog of the domain. This would give maybe additional informations.
Mail was working before but then just stopped. Where do I find these logs? I only see dovecoat logs under files in HestiaCP.

the correct services names are ‘dovecot’ and ‘exim4’ - so you might want to run your systemctl commands again.
I suggest checking the permissions and owners of the files inside /etc/exim4/domains/{yourdomain} - the logfile entry suggests that dovecot for some reason cannot read the passwd file there, while it should the be owner: -rw-rw---- 1 dovecot mail 85 Jun 19 20:37 passwd
obviously if it can’t get to the passwords, it cannot log you in at all.

Do you know where I can check SMTP?

be careful with manually fiddling with the permissions. this will simply break things, as the default settings are there for a purpose. if you got lost, get someone who knows how ownerships, groups and permissions work and let him fix it by comparing the ones one a freshly created testuser with entries for mail-domain and addresses (can be fake though) to the ones that are borked on you real one…
smtp is usually best tested with telnet, either by connecting from an external box to your server to check if auth works etc. or from your server to whatever provider you seem to be not able to reach.
451 as error is usually the server you want to connect rejecting you. reasons can be quite some different things, there should be more in the logfile than just this one line, that might hold additional clues on what went wrong.
