Am checking to determine if anyone here has setup a Secondary MX (BackupMX) on a VPS using Hestia CP?
My goal is provide our own Secondary MX service for roughly a half dozen domains.
Thanks.

I dont have a secondary MX server.
How do you intend to sync the messages among the servers?
This is a base feature of a secondary MX server (aka: backup mail server).
Here’s a quick explanation:
You can set up a Postfix mail server as a backup mail exchanger for a domain so that it accepts mails for this domain in case the primary mail exchanger is down or unreachable and passes the mails on to the primary MX once that one is up again.

I’ve used Postfix for decades and could set it up on a machine with Postfix. But I didn’t notice an option to use Postfix with Hestia CP instead of Exim.
Hestia doesnt support postfix, basicly you can set it up as secondary mailserver, but not sure if it would be the right solution, there are probaly better alternatives around.
Is it possible to setup redundancy with hestia? For the mail side of things.
no, we do not support redundant setups.
I mean, exim can be configured also as a backup server. But I wouldn’t mess with it.
What are the true advantages to it? I do not have outages or similar problems.
Whenever an email can’t be delivered, there are also the automatic retries on the first server.
Why should I complicate the config when other servers are taking care of the retries?
