Happy to be here and begin my journey with Hestiacp. My previous panel was self hosted Plesk so I’m not new to server software and admin, however I do feel this is going to be a steep learning curve.
My first and only issue is the webpanel domain name, upon install I was asked for a domain name which I supplied on completion of install I was given the domain to visit but I get can’t reach this page, using my IP address however does work. how can i rectify this please?

You must add on your current DNS provider an A record for that domain pointing to your server’s ip.

This is where it gets complicated my A records at the registrar Are pointing to my IP, I am running my own nameservers. So should be no need to keep up dating records at registrar.
Could you please share your actual domain and the output of hostname -f?

The output from the command is webpanel.ywrserver.uk
Your server doesn’t answer to requests for ywrserver.uk. Did you add that domain as a new dns domain on Hestia?
Have you tried adding the port?
For example:
http://webpanel.ywrserver.uk:8083
I see that in the url you have passed there is a Cyberpanel installed, you should close this topic.
My apologies, I realised I had Cyberpanel on another drive which Id left the WordPress on I needed to migrate to Hestia, Hestia has now been restored and still same issue.

Yes, I have added ywrserver.uk as a domain in Hestia.
Is the subdomain assigned to your DNS?

OK, got it working but SSL, won’t work says it has issued but is saying insecure.

The only subdomain resolving is webpanel:
$ dig @194.163.229.34 webpanel.ywrserver.uk +noall +ans
webpanel.ywrserver.uk. 14400 IN A 194.163.229.34
But you must configure the dns zone for your domain, so you must (at least) add both ns records ns1.ywrserver.uk and ns2.ywrserver.uk pointing to your public ip 194.163.229.34.
